JTRE statement on coronavirus

Logo JTRE

JTRE is committed to responding in a responsible manner to the spread of the new coronavirus COVID-19. We have established a Crisis Staff that closely monitors and evaluates the developing situation, as well as measures undertaken by the Central Crisis Staff of the Slovak Republic and the Public Health Authority of the Slovak Republic. All recommended measures are incorporated into our work procedures with view to help prevent the disease’s spread and protect the health of our employees, clients and partners.

Protecting our employees‘ health

Since the end of February, we have increased hygiene measures at all our workplaces and construction sites, and we provide employees with disinfectants and protective equipment. We have scaled down foreign business trips and all meetings, and our employees increasingly have home office. The JTRE showroom will remain closed until further notice. Employees whose presence at offices and construction sites is essential must adhere to strict hygiene procedures to protect themselves and others. Access to the work environment is only permitted with a mask, respirator, scarf or other means to cover the mouth and nose. In some cases, we have provided accommodation for workers who would otherwise be unable to access a job site. We continually monitor our employees‘ health in order to have a comprehensive  overview of our teams‘ status and thereby prevent possible complications.

We take care of our clients and partners

As the owner and manager of office, residential and multifunctional buildings, we would like to take this opportunity to assure you that we are implementing all the recommended precautions to ensure the safety of employees and visitors, and to prevent the spread of the virus. We are continually in dialogue with tenants, informing of all undertaken measures and how tenants can protect employees from infection.

Since the end of February we have been increasing the disinfection of touch surfaces in all communal areas such as entrances, turnstiles, corridors, lift lobby, lifts, doors, and communal toilets. This should minimize the risk of the most frequent means of transmission - touching surfaces where the virus has spread via droplets or being touched by an infected person. In the event of an infection being detected in one of our buildings, we proceed in strict accordance with the measures recommended by the Public Health Authority of the Slovak Republic and immediately ensure a thorough deep disinfection of affected premises. The building management can also arrange for the disinfection of a tenant’s  premises upon request.

In accordance with Public Health Authority recommendations, we have also closed all children’s playgrounds located in our projects.

We remain at your service

While all unexpected situations unavoidably impact the standard operations of companies, at JTRE we are nevertheless continuing to provide services for clients and cooperation with partners to the maximum extent possible. Our employees are available by phone and e-mail:
